My point wasn't that he didn't play great, b/c he did. It was to further illustrate that he isn't a closer, and needs someone else to do that.

Yes he did. Did you miss the part where KAT blocked him when we were down 2 with 3 minutes left. Did you miss the part where he forced a tough layup AD missed badly when we were down 4 with 2 minutes left, and again with 1 minute left? KAT got an and1 that put his team up 5 in that time span.
This was a surprising game, and i don't put much into it. AD has kicked KAT's arse almost every time we've played them.

Pelicans fans haven't won NBA championships, or seen a conference finals, or win 50 games every year.
I'm not overreacting to losing a those 3 games. I simply said we shouldn't have lost them, and they were mostly AD's fault. No big deal. We will probably win 6 of our next 8 and it will be AD that gets us most of the wins. It's a long season. It's ok to get mad about losing. If you're not upset when we lose, why are you even a fan of the team?

The whole point of my tldr post was that AD is not a closer, and he needs to be if he wants to be a top 3-5 player. If he can't get to that point, all he is is a really elite stat stuffer. He needs help, and Jrue is not enough. Adding a guy like Kemba helps with that. Adding a guy like Porter, does not.

I'm not advocating for AD to leave, and i don't want him too. And i have not been posting in most of these ridiculous threads about the recent play of the team and AD. It's a long season full of ups and downs, nothing new there. Utah and the Rockets aren't over .500. the media was trying to explain why one or both of them would finish ahead of the Warriors, who have been off to a pretty crappy start themselves.
This team today is not the team that will be playing in the playoffs, and i look forward to what trade we make.
