UCF can actually do it

Current rankings are:
1. Alabama
2. Clemson
3. Notre Dame
4. Michigan
Currently, Notre Dame is losing and Michigan lost. So if the Notre Dame result holds most likely the new rankings on Tuesday will be
1. Alabama
2. Clemson
3. Georgia
4. Oklahoma.
Next Saturday Alabama will most likely beat UGA which knocks them out of the top 4, if Texas beats Oklahoma that would knock them out and a 3 loss Texas won't make the Playoffs. Ohio State should beat NW which will put them in the top 4 and UCF should beat Memphis so the final rankings could be 1. Alabama
2. Clemson
3. Ohio State
4. UCF
It isn't too far fetched.

After Milton's injury, it is not a given that UCF beats Memphis. They beat Memphis 31-30 earlier this year with him.

They're not putting UCF and their backup QB into the playoff.

Milton-less UCF can actually lose to Memphis, and end up in Birmingham too.
