Not even. It's the same owners and same recipes as the old Pancho's. Place gets packed on a Saturday night, too.

Lotta memories of that panchos in Bossier city. Only craved it maybe once a year. It wasn’t great, but you wanted it.

Where is there a Panchos? Haven't been since the one in Lafayette closed.

There are at least two in Houston (Humble and I45 North).

1995 Independence Bowl...I was in the tiger band and about half the band went there for dinner one night and nearly all got a case of the runs.

El Magey in Baton Rouge is pretty good for a Mexican buffet

Hosted a couple of college parties with Pancho’s around 2001-02ish. I just remember being a poor college kid, and it only costs about $2 per person to eat if you bought one of those huge platters for cheap. They had great chips and salsa.

The Pancho's in Bossier was the only restaurant our family ever went to, other than an occasional stop at McDonald's. We thought Pancho's was fancy as hell.
I remember thinking that the people who ordered margaritas at the drinks window (instead of having water like us) must be rich.
Pancho's "raise the flag" when you need service approach should be emulated by every restaurant. Brocato's in Shreveport had a button you could push to call a waiter. Never seen any other place do it, but they all should.
