That graph proves my point. We were blowing people out of the water in September and early October with Defense and a very efficient offense.. Jefferson came back that October but didn’t become the starter fully until mid November.

He started well but the longer he started the worse the offense became - see late November and obviously December and January.

Any argument that we wouldn’t have won the SEC or Beaten Bama with Jarrett Lee is an argument from Silence. The defense only allowed 6 points in the GOTC (mainly due to the failure of Bama’s special teams as they really outplayed us) and that has little to do with the offense.

If Jefferson had ANY success against BAMA in that game it was because of the element of surprise not because of QB ability.

See no further than 1/9. Saban saw all the film and knew how limited we really were.

1/9 was the game to put Lee back in and surprise Saban once more.
