More than likely, LSU knew his job search was a farce, so they just ended it amicably

Dellenger said it was Les who approached Alleva about this deal a couple of days ago.

Doubtful. Pretty easy to satisfy a good faith standard under a contract, and the word is that Les approached LSU.
