Sad situation all around and prayers to the family or loved ones.

Neoprene waders keep you afloat but they force you feet up. Neoprene waders do not cause you to sink.

High river, fast current and strong NE winds made it very dangerous this morning. I’ve heard of two other mud boats sinking today, fortunately they both were picked up by other boats.

Always wear a life jacket and keep a floating handheld VHF readily available at all times running the river especially early in the am run down the river.

Be careful out there.
