re: What size insta pot ??

We have the 8qt, and is pretty big, make sure you have somewhere to store it. You can fit a 2-pack of chuck roast from Sams or Costco in the 8qt, I don't think this will fit in the 6. Hard to beat 1.5 gallons of roast and gravy for $25. The insert also works well as a sous vide vessel. I use maybe three of the functions.
