If we’re going to have a minimum wage, I don’t mind attempts to keep up with inflation. I do mind people making arguments that minimum wage jobs should provide living wage salaries.

The counter argument is if as a company, if you are dependent on $7/hr labor, then you need to update your processes.

I don't disagree, but a 22% increase over three years isn't indexing with inflation. If it is, we're all fricked
