While I have been very critical of 0, getting rid of him at this point and getting into this cycle of switching coaches every year will destroy any semblance of culture we have and send us into Tennessee/usc depths

Oh please. LSU is not tennessee.

Also, LSU has shown even an interim coach and even average coaches can have successs here while still established.

Is it too much to ask for an above average coach who is an x and o guy.

I don’t see E’s offense building much more going forward. He will continue to beat up lesser opponents and still struggle against equal or greater talent. Same problem we had under Les.

Don't you understand the difference between no extension and firing him? He still has two years left on his current contract. The next two years will definitely tell which way this program is going. If he wins out and we win our bowl game, then perhaps you can give him a two year extension with a small pay raise but also with a very low buyout. If he is doing great two years from now then by all means give him another two or three year extension and a pay raise but again do not get into one of these ridiculous buyouts like we got saddle with Les! No other top ten program in the country would take Coach O and those are just the facts.
