A long, long time ago, people used to designate a time and a place to meet when they made plans. Now, everything is left open ended as if simply saying "George's at 6:00PM" is too much of a commitment for anyone to make.

Yep. It kills me. I’m a planner. I’m not psychotic about it, but I use a calendar and I prefer to set plans.

Several friends get all weird when I pull up the OpenTable app for dinner. Sorry but I’m not standing around the lobby of a restaurant on a 1hour wait on a Friday night because you don’t know if you can commit to a time.
