I love Constitutional (Individual Rights) Principles, IB, and the chance for maximum freedom therein. But our Founders warned us that Constitutional Rule of Law would only work for "a moral and Religious People". There is a point wherein the Populous no longer are wise, vigilant or responsible enough to enable the kind of freedom that we have long enjoyed.
IMO, it is obvious that we are fast reaching that point. If the Left keeps pushing, Trump may well be our last elected POTUS. Authoritarian governance in the pipeline. And I sorely lament that reality.
