I think we might as well forget about the Amite area. That ship has sailed. We need to concentrate on dominating the rest of the state. There's more than enough talent to go around

I agree, but I wonder what would happen if LSU took it a step or two further.

Float their concerns that there are shady dealings happening there, and LSU is backing away from that area out of caution so not to be entangled in any violations, or even the appearance of any shenanigans.

Don’t recruit anyone or even extend any invitations to camp at LSU. If LSU isn’t getting any kids from there, and they have to write off the whole area. Maybe apply a little pressure to hopefully entice the locals clean up their scene.

Make Amite a known pariah. A couple of locals in cahoots with a guy on the Bama staff shouldn’t be able to control every recruit in that area. LSU needs to play hardball.

If you're going to send a message... that's how you do it. Blacklist the whole area. Rival HS coaches would love it too btw (a little lagniappe).

This is how you do it. It causes the locals to truly take notice of whats going on and take some ownership for ending the shady shite going on.

Unfortunately though, as mentioned in the article Delly wrote in SI at the beginning of the season, alot of the locals dont seem to mind the shady shite the barber is doing bc they seem to think he is helping some of these kids make it out of the area and do something with their life. Im willing to bet that they would have a different opinion if they knew the amount of money he is being funneled by Bama to steer these kids.
