Could be worse. If last night had been the third or fourth loss, the narrative would be a program headed in the wrong direction and that would torpedo the 2019 recruiting class.

OK. Last night LSU outplayed every defense Bama has faced this season and most likely will face all the way to the CFPCG. The problem was the offensive line was exposed and we knew it was a liability. The defense kept this game in check for 3 qtrs and was a winnable opportunity had the offense been able to compete. If LSU had Bama's OL we would have had a even chance to win that game. Bama scored 4 TD's and a FG. Two of those TD's were after the Defense gassed out. So 17 points is a reasonable amount to compete against in most any game.
Even with the complete offensive shitting of the bed we held them to 27 pts under their avg or about 50% of that.
