- we won't play another team near as talented as bama. if we play with intensity we will win out

- we now are CERTAIN where wwe need upgrades. it's obvious our OL is not good enough to be elite

- other than Battle, I saw no major injuries. hard to believe that alexander or Lawrence didn't have to leave the game once.

- we should be able to start the same OL for one of the first times this year; the experience will help

- joe was not killed

- we should be able to convince a top RB to sign since he will be able to play immediately and we have 3 on the hook (and we have Davis)

-our defense is damn good. we pretty well knew we needed to score about 30 points to win and if we would have our D would have had more rest.

- we didn't have many penalties and just MAYBE the SEC didn't "interfere" for a change. I can't believe they didn't toss Delpit early in the game (even tho that targeting call was a stretch)

that's all I got. BUT, I think we have a very good shot at winning out and going 10-2 with a good bowl in sight. we just have to regroup and not lose heart like we used to after losing to bama.

yeahhh I'm sure John Emery saw the oline get blown up every play and thought to himself "I'd love to get some carries behind a line like that"

Bama's rotation of 5 star backs looked a lot more attractive

And our offense system/coordinator lacks creativity to any sufficient point that can mask some of the online issues.

that's probably because you are struggling with putting this game in prospective. our players playd their arse off but got beat mano a mano. while it was extremely disappointing, one must take a step back and see it for what it is; we played the best team, by far, we will see this year (and the best team I have ever seen). it's over (thank god).

imo, the challenge is for the coaches and the players to regroup and make the best of their season. there is still a lot to play for.

There’s no positives from last night. That was just a straight up arse kicking in every facet of the game. We were outschemed, out coached and out played. In 16 & 17 there were positives you could take from those losses to Bama, last night you just forget and put it behind you

It’s hard to be optimistic after being demoralized.

This LSU team is average and Bama is great. We need to accept that and move on, I guess.

that's your opinion. I think he masked those issues very well against both Georgia and MSU. but man, there ain't no "masking" possible when either their defensive ends OR their interior linemen being in the backfield about a second or two after the snap. our OL got pushed around like dolls. no pocket for Joe to step up into, no holes for RB's (bama completely jammed the gaps) and no time for Joe to survey the field and check down receivers. we had some success with quick throws but even those were blocked or prevented by their front 7. no, scheme was not the story last night.

And I disagree with yours, respectfully.

The quicker plays worked decently when we ran them. The play actions with long, slow developing routes were doomed to fail given the defense pressure and the o lines troubles.

Just about everything Bama ran was quick and the ball was gone. Yes, their line was better than ours, but so was their scheme.

the thing about successful people; they may get demoralized but it doesn't last long. winners bounce back and quickly.

while bama is indeed great LSU is not average. We are better than average and playing average teams and beating them proves that. imo, our team is still a top 10 team. we hit our ceiling and we can't rise above that until we field an OL than is much better.

You know that would all sound great if we had actually looked like we belonged in the same field as Bama.

It’s one thing to lose to a great team.

But god damn I just can’t get excited about the future after watching them prison rape our offense last night.

And it’s made worse by the fact that teams much worse than LSU were able to move the ball and actually score points.

Last night was about as demoralizing a loss as anything I’ve ever watched

look, bama was much more motivated last night than against other teams and those games came earlier in the year; bama has improved a lot since then.

I understand. but if you think about it you can control you're own feelings. put it in perspective man. not only is it mentally healthy you may be able to enjoy the next few games.

ps. every team I know has had their butts kicked some time or another. maybe not a recently coached saban team but every other team. LSU is still on an upward trajectory.

Bama didn’t score on their first drive for the first time all season.

We intercepted Tua.

That’s all I got...

ETA = Tua actually played in the 4th quarter.

And that’s about it. Tua pretty much moved the ball at will against our D.
