Agreed. I know a few racist white and black people but to act like it is pervasive in our culture is just disingenuous.

No shite!!!
I've got two mixed nephews and no one says shite or blinks an eye when they're out with us. My wife made the comment about how colorblind kids are now. At Awana's one of the kids asked where another child was but couldn't remember her name. She asked her what she looked like and she said, "You know the really pretty girl with the long curly hair". No mention of skin color. 
That may not seem like much, but IMO it's says a lot about how things have changed.
