What's going to be the 1st 2019 movie you're going to see in theater?

Probably still be seeing the December releases until Glass comes out in mid-Jan.

This right here. Never catch movies in December.

I'd have to see what's coming out but probably either leftover movies from this year or Glass.

I go to the movies maybe twice a year now. I went and saw Halloween, pretty sure that was the only movie I've seen in theater this year. It has to be something like Star Wars, Star Trek, Godzilla, Bond movie etc. for me to drag my arse down there. I'll be seeing Fantastic Beasts and that will be it for 2018.
Hellboy jumps out as something I'd definitely be interested in seeing in April. Godzilla in May. Holy shite at all the sequels and remakes in 2019.

Probably some Oscar nominees. That’s what we usually see early in the year.

I saw Halloween on Halloween, and this couple talked and dissected the movie the entire time!!! You have to be a special kind of arshole to talk during a movie for two hours straight.

Fantastic Beasts 2 one day this month. Maybe Star Wars Episode 9 next year? I am still a little butt hurt over Episode 8.

Absolutely agreed. When I saw it, the couple next to me either talked or laughed after every scene in the movie, and I haven't got angrier over something in a long time.

I quit going for a while. Went to A Star is Born. First time in years.
Was impressed by how Shreveport Tinseltown has improved. Electronic recliners, all reserved seating, huge seating area, etc. Building a bar in the lobby.
Abe Lincoln could sit in front of you, and you could kick up your feet and see just fine. Folks could leave your aisle, and no one has to lower their footrests to let them out.
Good to see they are trying. I’m much more likely to go to the theater after that experience,
Robinson Film Center in downtown Shreveport is not so fancy but is good because the audiences are usually well mannered people.
