Eh, I get what he’s saying. I interpret that as taking advantage of the opportunity and taking a trip that is far from the norm.
Most (not all) people don’t have the chance to take 2+ weeks to travel somewhere, so when presented with the opportunity, why not make the most of it?
That’s one of the reasons we chose Bali for our honeymoon. Complete opposite side of the world that isn’t exactly an easy trip to make, whereas we can go to Europe for an extended weekend fairly easily.
