I have no doubt that presents one particular theory. Can you give me the gist of what it says to justify your particular assertion here?
I've read about a theory that suggests the whole idea of religious thought was an essential evolutionary hurdle for mankind (homo sapiens) to actually become what we consider civilized. Again, not necessarily speaking to any religious truth - although, one could make an argument it might at least suggest such.
I'm pretty sure none of the individuals studying such things would declare any of their theories absolute truth on this topic. At least, I hope they wouldn't.
