Local NAACP lies about votes changing in Jefferson Parish

Why does the news give these fools the time of day?

As I heard this on the news I laughed. I said to myself, it's amazing that these "unnamed individuals" vote straight ticket, when Louisiana doesn't offer that option.
This is more fake news.

The Jefferson Parish chapter of the NAACP is investigating allegations of vote flipping in Jefferson Parish. Chapter president Gaylor A. Spiller said at least three residents said their votes were changed during early voting at the Westbank polls in Marrero. She said all the votes in question were flipped from all Democratic candidates to all Republicans.
“People have a right,” Spiller said. “If their votes change exactly in front of their face -- they voted straight Democrat and it changed in their face -- they were concerned about it.”
Louisiana Secretary of State Kyle Ardoin, who oversees all elections in the state, released the following statement about the allegations.
“First, straight ticket voting and vote flipping are two separate issues," Ardoin said in the statement. “Louisiana does not vote straight ticket, and there is no evidence of vote flipping in this election. Our machines are rigorously tested to ensure the integrity of each vote. We use touch-screen technology, and each AVE Edge machine has its own set of instructions for use. To date, we have voted more than 197,000 voters in person with few complaints. If an issue occurs, voters should always look to trusted sources such as the Secretary of State's office, the Registrars of Voters' offices and the Clerks of Courts' offices.”
Spiller said the people who reported the problems to the NAACP are afraid they will be retaliated against if they come forward. She said she will protect the identities of other voters with similar concerns while the chapter investigates.
“I wanted to put it out there so that people will know that the NAACP here in Jefferson Parish, and all over, is looking at this,” Spiller said.
Chief Deputy for the Jefferson Parish Registrar of Voters, Philip Trupiano, said similar allegations made during the 2016 presidential election were proven false. He told Spiller on Tuesday that any accusation of vote flipping would be taken seriously.

Good to see SOS Ardoin not kowtowing to NAACP. Tired of politicians not calling out these types of false accusations for what they are... agenda driven lies.

Doesn't matter. The original claim is already out there. That's good enough for most Americans. Because most Americans are fricking retarded sacks of shite.

I would like to know what retaliation they are afraid of.
