Which brings up my question - should they be held accountable by not regulating any hate speech which leads to violence on their sites. It seems to me they are endorsing the hate speech. Many states have laws where the parents are responsible for the bad actions of their children so why couldn't a similar law be applied here?

That is a slippery slope and where would the line be drawn?

I don't like the government intervention aspect of it. Let Twitter users decide the fate of Twitter.
