I don't think this necessarily means they were actually "bombs" either. Of course they want to throw the book at him, and I'm not disputing that they must have contained some "explosive substances." I would say a "bomb" has to have some sort of actual trigger device, which if any of these did

I'm saying, it clearly doesn't seem like there was anything to trigger any these things into being an actual "bomb".
Do you think it was the "clock" on this? How do you think that would work being put in a mailbox? When do you think it was set to blow?
