To me first it's the trenches. With our offensive line shuffling and our week off I think we will be fine, Bamas defensive from and defensive unit as a whole doesn't worry me for once. It's soley their offense.

With the offense though I'm not worried about their wideouts. They don't have much size so a jump ball won't be a concern so they really have to best us with hard nose running, quick one step drop throws, or the deep ball. I expect them to come in running more than usual and then try to keep us offbalanced with the Playaction to a deep streak.

Vs miss st. They did decent on a few plays with the Playaction or quarterback keep when Fitz motioned himself as he woukd pass then immediately run. It forced our linebackers to take an extra step and our cornerbacks kinda second guessed.

Extremely worried about the blitz packages send at our O line. They get confused easily if they aren't on the same page they will rattle our qb, second I'm honestly worried about their run game and them spreading us out wide and letting tua take off if need be. I think our run defense is still suspect notice the first qtr against uga and they totally went away from the run game

Receivers have to limit the drops.

They might not have the jump ball but they do have the speed, I'm a little worried about battle getting picked on, and as much as I hate to give tua credit he throws a beautiful long ball

Yep the speed is something to worry about but don't get confused we have some speedy guys. I think we can off balance the receivers enough by knocking then off their routes.

The O-line has to dominate The trenches. To me that’s the big factor. I know our Dbs will show out for this game. This is their annual statement game

Hopefully special teams. LSU has been excellent there with the exception of punt returns.

Idc who they have in their front 7. I know they are top notch every year. Im always worried about their DLine.

It’s really simple though, if we can run the ball and stuff their running game we will win.

I don’t think Tua will do as well if he has to throw against our sticky CBs without support from his RBs.

Hopefully this will be the game that Johnathon Giles live's up to all of the preseason hype that was surrounding him.

Rec & referees will be the biggest factor.

If Orgeron never enters the stadium on game day, Tigers win.

I think a big factor is not having that one thing Bama can key on and take away. In recent years it's been a stud running back. They take that away and we're toast. This year I think we have a much more complete team. I think our RB's are capable and it's a pick your poison at WR. We've shown if they would just try it more we can throw over the middle and we can obviously throw outside. I think Bama will have to game plan more than they have in 5 years. My biggest worry is actually their running game. We've struggled against the run this year partly due to scheme in my opinion. I know we're thin on the d line and either can't or won't play with 4 down lineman predominately. If they run on us I do worry about throws over the top which Tua is completing at a crazy rate. I'd rather send Battle if he plays to help the run and keep Delpit back.

Bama’s running game is a lot better than everyone is giving them credit for.. they just haven’t had to rely on it yet

We have to keep our offense on the field as much as possible.

I know that's a little simplistic but given the first half situation this becomes imperative. Cannot let them run away with it right off the bat. Slow it down, grind it out.

Agreed. If we stop the run I think we can defend in the secondary.

DBs have to be physical with bama’s WR’s. To me this is the key matchup.

LSU DB vs WR: limit big plays, create turnovers

LSU Oline vs pass rush: LSU struggles with speed rush. We have faced better speed rushers, so limit missed assignments. unpredictable play calling. tempo.

LSU dline vs interior rush: Big Ed holds his ground and Queen plays well.

if we can do this, we will be in good shape.
