What everyone else has said, and I'll add to look in the radiator for signs of the "strawberry milkshake". Transmission cooler is inside the radiator. They can bust and fill your cooling system with transmission fluid. You're almost guaranteed to have problems from here out if that has happened. If it's good and you buy it, I recommend adding an aftermarket external trans cooler and bypass the stock one.
