It seems like cultural appropriation is wrong
But gender appropriation is ok
I wonder what they would say if a white transgender man wanted to be a black woman and wore an Afro.
Would they criticize him/?her?

They'd get shim on the initial transgression of being white and a male. That privileged starting point revokes the customary exemption from criticism.
