I never had birthday parties growing up. My birthday falls on Labor Day weekend, and by the time I was 5, I was shooting doves and snipe with my dad and brother’s in a rice/milo field. That’s a tradition I’ll always honor.

I hope I can find something similar to do with my future kids. It’s a popularity contest to some parents.
