Not sure about all that. I don't think they do all the alternates at Oregon just to sell jerseys.

Right. My point was the reasoning behind the alternate is to make people buy another jersey.

Obviously Oregon is the exception and you know that. One off alternates for teams like LSU are a cash grab first and a fun thing for the players second.
