Really enjoyed this one. I didn't think the flight/space shots were as well done as Apollo 13, but still a solid flick for anyone interested in history or the space program.

Barely beat Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween for third place this week.

I was disappointed by it, to be honest. 6/10. Pretty boring

I thought it was excellent in how it depicted how dangerous and unknown these missions were. They were huge risks the Gemini/Apollo astronauts really were jumping off the edge of the earth into the unknown. No scientific accomplishment has come close to the moon landing nearly 50 years ago.

Thoroughly enjoyed it besides the old ladies behind me feeling the need to let everybody in the theater know that she remembers this and that. Acting was top notch.

I get that there was danger associated with the mission but there was also excitement. This dire film showed none of that. From the Earth to the Moon captured that tone perfectly. Gosling played Neil like his Drive character that was slightly Autistic. And since when is Buzz bald? The cinematography was terrible. I get they wanted to capture the claustrophobic nature but that doesn't mean they had to zoom in on everyone's faces to the point you can see wrinkles. I hate shaky cam too.

I loved it but fast forwarded through all the home scenes. His wife annoyed me for some reason
