PSA to all the fans and the student section who stayed the whole 60 minutes. You don’t know how much it meant to the team when we came out after halftime and the stadium was still full... We feed off of y’all.. Y’all made the difference ?????? #GeauxTigers

Finally a player said it. When everybody leaves after halftime it is deflating as hell to the players. I hope yesterday was a turning point, but we all know next weekend Tiger Stadium will be empty once again after halftime.

Everyone that says it doesn't matter has never played sports. It can make a difference. Maybe it shouldn't, but it does

Half the stadium were Georgia fans who bought tickets from the half time tiger fans. So in essence, it was half filled with dedicated tiger fans.

It will stay full against State unless we are completely blowing them out. This game is huge.

It wasn't half. But it was glorious to see the Red Sea depart in the 4th qtr!

Do you know why? It’s because red is significantly more noticeable, especially the bright red of Georgia.

Now pair that with the fact that the purple and gold kind of blend together and that the georgia red sticks out like a sore thumb amongst, and their numbers looked much more populous than they actually were.

It's sad our players have to see a half empty stadium.
I was at gym Thursday & overhead another lady say to her friend "my husband & me usually leave at the end of the first quarter.
But since Georgia's #2 & all we'll probably stay until the end of the third quarter."
Gee don't strain yourself honey trying to be a "fan" &all.

Well that's a pretty big stretch. Several articles have estimated that GA had @20,000 fans, which is impressive. But the total attendance was listed as 103k which is 19% Dawgfans. I wasn't there, so I'm just going off of what I read this morning, including the Atlanta Journal Constipation. Are those estimates that wrong???

This BS needs to stop. UGA did not takeover Tiger Stadium. The CBS cameras were pointed toward the east side, which happened to be where the majority of the UGA fans were located. They traveled very well, but they didn’t have more than about 15K in the stadium.

Then you should have married me. I would stay for he entire game AND 30 minutes after to watch all the celebration and excitement.

I married a dude that cannot stay focused on 4 hours of football. WTF was I thinking?
