if you watch the Ford/Kav hearing day, Grasserly explained (at least twice) that all the FBI would do is interview people and create 302s and it wouldn't be an "investigation". they created the talking point of "an investigation" so that when it wasn't enough (b/c they knew Grasserly was correct), they'd have a talking point to de-legitimize things

the FBI was never, ever, ever going to do a full blown investigation or go down the wormhole of infinite subjects that the DEMs are portraying. this is all just a coordinated message used as a backup plan because they lost. nothing more

This. I have had FBI backgrounds done on me and have also read others. They are in simplest terms, a bunch of interviews typed up and stapled together. THEY DO NOT DRAW ANY CONCLUSIONS.
