Oh shut the hell up you closed-minded douche. I'm on the spectrum and while it has some negative impacts (I have a hard time looking people in the eye, laser focus on certain things others might not understand, etc.), it certainly hasn't ruined my life like you imply.

I'd actually argue that it's improved my life in areas, and that's especially true when those around me understand what I'm dealing with. I've never looked at it as a "disability" though, because it's not. I'd say that if anyone here is disabled it's you and your mindset.

The "autist" label has done nothing to disparage autism, in fact it's quite the opposite by implying that we're an unstoppable force when we want to get something accomplished. Douches like you acting like the opposite is true is FAR more damaging.
