We need to get that dude on a plane and in town for the UGA / LSU game.

With a name like that, it's only natural?

No. It will probably a PAC-10 team or Bama.

Bama is my gut feeling there. FSU shitting the bed has really put them in a prime spot.

So why the interest with Bama and not LSU? Serious question since I assume we have been recruiting him hard, we send players to the NFL and IIRC he is from LA. So where is the gap?

They're the best program, by far, in the country, with the best coach.

Every recruiting class there for over a decade has won a national championship.

They have the best facilities and university commitment to the football program in the country.

Other than that, I have no idea why he'd like Bama.

I swear our fans are just completely delusional.

Yeah, no offense, but I just think that is the easy answer - if they were that good they would get everyone and anyone they wanted.

I mean they might be the best college program, but NFL feeder school, I think it would be a sound argument to say its LSU. I think this is more of the leg up or at least equal to others.

Again being from the area originally would mean something to me, but maybe I'm in the minority.

I think I am also surprised that were apparently are not in the top few schools, per those on this board - again, not sure I understand that.

If you see my question with the reasons I have outlined as delusional, they then you need to think about recruiting on a deeper level.

if we handle biz after these big games, there will be a ton of interest in us from more than just KT.

Becasue AlObama has no salary cap. That's the main reason Saban left the NFL and went to AlObama to start with. He didn't like the salary cap with the Dolphins. No control of personnel decisions. He now has unlimited control over both.

Wasn't Tommy Robinson the Pac12 recruiter of the year his last year at USC? I'd think he'd be reeling in West Coast kids left and right like Tupoi does?

I have a feeling if Robinson keeps laying duds in recruiting, he won’t have the job much longer. He was brought in to recruit and he’s done a suspect job at best.

LSU hasn't beaten Sabama in....IDK....forever, that's one reason for the gap. Second is NC's, LSU hasn't won one in eleven years and Sabama wins one almost every year. If he goes Sabama it's because he wants a NC and doesn't feel like he is good enough to help LSU get one. Orgeron won't close the gap in recruiting until he beats Sabama. Even if LSU somehow wins a NC but loses to Sabama, the gap will still be there. They must beat them.

Bama has 4 spots left with only 1 RB and 1 WR

They have 4 DE committed and taking 5 in one year is not something Saban typically does.

Thibodeaux is a great take for anyone and maybe BAMA does get him and process one of the DE commits who knows.
