Maybe LSU would pay you.

Don't know if they could afford me.

Our board is fine. Weve targeted who we are targeting and im good with that. There will be a decommit or 3 and new targets will emerge in december/january. One the early period plays out the board will fluctuate for a bit and the targets we really want will emerge.
My only hope is that they have a better, more definite plan with who are takes and who arent unlike last year. Also backup plans in place.

And that's really all I was trying to get at. Contingencies.
It's still early, but Texas, A&M, and Alabama will fight over Banks. Let's focus our recruitment efforts elsewhere in case this "commit" doesn't pan out.

Why would we let one of our top commits or top prospects go instead of someone much further down the list?
no shite. everytime I think I've heard the dumbest thing ever on this board it gets trumped by something even more idiotic. and then some of these idiots actually criticize others.

I'm fighting my eyes out to keep Banks in the class. I think he's really really good. I'm definitely not dropping him over either juco guy.
And I don't think we're as stacked at safety as it seemed coming into the year.
For whatever reason, Monroe is mia (injury? Suspension?), Battle, Paris and Alexander are gone after this year. Harris hasn't looked great so far this year. And apparently Stevens either needs more time to develop, or he's destined for linebacker.

Remember Cayden Sterns. Herman and probably Jimbo will promise Banks a starting role. He's a TX kid.
He won't get that same commitment from Raymond and LSU. Meanwhile Devin Bush is still uncommitted, and Kimbrough will probably be at the FL game.

Anything about Banks you want to tell us?
Posted on 10/3/18 at 7:33 pm to NOSA
He has something against the kid apparently, its kind of sad.
Posted on 10/3/18 at 7:35 pm to Joe Mantegna
Nope, I just don't get attached to verbal commits.
And I like Devin Bush more.

Why do you like him more?

Everybody is entitled to their own opinion and since technology hasn't gotten to the point yet to allow someone to reach out and bitch slap someone through the computer about their opinion enjoy another downvote for now.

He's a lot bigger, more versatile (Punt & Kick Return), good instincts, fluid hips; able to track receivers in and out of breaks very well, high points the ball well, can also play safety. He's SEC ready.
When I see Banks I see potential but will need to put on size, he's a very good tackler in space too. Don't get me wrong I like Banks, I just Like Bush more.

I totally disagree, Banks is better at all of those things. Theres a reason why Bush isnt a take here and other sec schools.

You're just being a contrarian now. The tape doesn't lie.
Devin Bush's Jr. Highlights
Marcus Banks Jr. Highlights
Some of Bush's Offer List:
Clemson
Georgia
A&M
Auburn
Florida
SC

There’s room for all 3.
The DB who won’t be at LSU or any other college football program is Hampton. MLB all the way.

No he wont. Donte jackson is a toothpick ballin out in the NFL right now.
You are also looking at his junior highlights. He made a ton of improvement over the summer and his performance thus far his senior year is the reason he got a huge bump recently. Go watch some of his senior highlights and you will see why this kid is an absolute stud.
