He makes good points about the offense that some forget about on a daily basis and expect 100% perfection.

It comes with chemistry and more opportunities, offense should keep getting better.

With 10 new players, new offensive coordinator. He thinks they are really starting to click now.

Five starting lineups on the Oline in five weeks. They have handled the adversity well. Always tough having new faces every week. Coach Cregg is doing good job at getting them ready.

And more in video.

@Joe_Burrow10 joins @emilyvdixon for Inside the Huddle!

Jeaux Jeaux has probably done more interviews in the last couple weeks than he had his whole life. He has even been on at least one Columbus Ohio sports talk show.

Why is there a picture of Edward in a thread about Joe Burrow?

Cody Worsham - There’s no question about it: Joe Burrow is getting better every week, and his effort against Ole Miss was the best of his five-game LSU career.

Up over 50% completion and never looking back

Dude is a warrior. How often do you see a guy who is with a team for just a few months named one of the captains?

.@Joe_Burrow10 has been named to the Davey O'Brien Great 8 list! #GeauxTigers

Not bad for a guy who some here were quick to point out was just a career backup at OSU.

People thought we'd click on offense right away with a QB who just stepped on campus 3 months before the season, new RBs, new WRs and a few new O-linemen. We had little significant experience at our skill positions. They are starting to come along now and the play calling was more varied and really good last week. Chemistry is important and they are building that as well.

The SEC leader in YAC and the SEC’s second-to-last team in YAC squared off Saturday.

Guess who won?

LSU made plays after the catch – and stopped Ole Miss from doing so.

Some in-depth numbers+film on how the Tigers out-threw the SEC’s throwingest team.

The Truth: How LSU Won the Aerial Battle vs. Ole Miss

quote:

Credit starts with offensive coordinator Steve Ensminger, who did a really nice job of getting Burrow going with some higher-percentage throws. Nick Brossette and Foster Moreau each got short looks – a nice play action call for Moreau coming across the line of scrimmage – to get the passing game into a rhythm.

"I think you have to give Steve Ensminger credit," said head coach Ed Orgeron. "I think this was his best game this year mixing it up."

If you tried pointing this out you weren't a true fan.

Same last season, I laughed at this notion we will come storming out the gates with a new OC and new scheme.

I agree, should definitely give credit to Ensminger for being able to put up 578 yards to a team that held FCS powerhouse Southern Illinois to 626.

Now lets see them boys do it two weeks in a row, right Ree?

Probably something as prestigious as being a Biletnikoff finalist or the only offensive Broyles award finalist

Biggest addition to this year are linemen on both sides of the ball
After all the bitching everybody did after last signing class ... can you now see how important the line is?
