Eric - I loved you while you were here.
I served 9 years.
There is a time and place for everything. Protesting while on the job in uniform is not the place. On your own time may be acceptable. It is despicable what you all have started. I am one that has lost interest in the NFL. That is my right.
Also, Eric, you make more in one year than I make in my lifetime. If you have the financial need and desire to protest, you have the necessary funds to do so. Why not put your money where your protest is and try to do something positive. And last, the $95 Million or so from the NFL is just hush money to quite protesting players. I think the NFL is also to blame.
Fans, sorry but I can rant much longer. But I stand for the pledge and National Anthem. And Eric does not.
Edited due to me being an idiot.

You are a faux-Patriot. Also, you are an idiot. The Pledge of Allegiance and National Anthem are not the same thing.

The Oblivious One
My grandson wants to join up when he comes of age and I encourage it. I also encourage him to stand up for each and every citizen of our great country. No matter if they are purple and gold or Panther blue.

Good for you. That doesn't make you any more patriotic than Reid. Thank you for your service, btw.

You served so that he can do exactly what you are condemning. It doesn’t matter whether you agree with it or not.
What makes you think he isn’t doing some sort of community engagement with his money?

I can’t tell if this post is serious or intentionally, hilariously ironic.

Yeah I don't think you understand the point of a protest LOL. He should only protest while playing God Bless America, watching Field of Dreams, and the privacy of his own home

You’re an idiot all right

Hold on... they aren't protesting against the military.
This argument is stupid. It's a civil rights issue. Right or wrong, bringing the military into it was a sneaky distraction.

Thank you for your service bro. You ARE a Patriot
There's few things more American than Football. In most places in America, Football is the more important than anything else. It's what keeps folks going through the dark days. The Saints literally saved New Orleans during Katrina. I know it's just a movie but INVINCIBLE showed what the Eagles mean to folks in Philly and it is very real. In some places it's an LSU or a South Carolina or it's the Texans or Cardinals or it's an Odessa-Permian or the Bossier Bearkats. It's what brings us all together and before the war starts, we all honor Old Glory and say a prayer. That's America!!
The cowardly kneelers have robbed the spirit of America from Football from me. Go ahead and kneel and very soon your multi-million dollar lavish lifestyle won't be supported by hard working guys like me. We won't tolerate it. There will come a day when they will be reducing the size of stadiums over a few pampered athletes who, in reality, hate America.
God Bless the USA
