Just to ask...

If Johnson rips off 8 straight wins and beats UGA what will you say about the offense then?

Do I think they will? Of course not, but it is not the offense that is holding back Tech, it is the academics and being in Atlanta that is making them be what they are and always been, a midline program with a year every decade of great play. They are the Minnesota of the ACC.

It's the lack of recruiting because of the offense. No high school QB, OL, or RB with real NFL aspirations wants to play in that system. I remember a quote by Jon Dwyer after the Steelers drafted him where he basically said he had to learn to play RB all over again.

I'll say what a turnaround. I don't anticipate saying it.

Atlanta should be a plus for them and they are not a midline program anymore.

Minnesota went to 5 straight bowls before Fleck. Tech's in danger of missing out on a bowl for the 3rd time in 4 years. Minnesota is not in one of the top area's in the country for HS talent, that also happens to be a very attractive destination for young black males. Tech has the potential to be a bit player on the national recruiting scene because of Atlanta.
