I would think the restaurant would want a new location rather than renovating the current one.
Most stuff in or around there is either dead or in the process of dying. Melting Pot just closed, for instance.

And Hartley Vey, who owns the shopping center isn’t going to help out as they want to tear the whole facility down and sell or redevelop.

I’m aware but there were talks (plans drawn out and all) dating back years to renovate but the landlords wouldn’t accommodate. There was also talk about them moving to Bluebonnet between the mall and Perkins Rowe. Granted, those talks were while still under the DFRG flag and with different C-level execs
