The weirdest one I remember was Texas playing at Wyoming in 2009.

Colorado at Toledo... Baylor at ULM once when they were good... Texas also played Tulane in the Dome once

Plus we play at rice regularly.

We have also played at UTEP and UCF (they actually gave us a game) as 2 for 1 deals.

The big difference between us and vatech is that even in our worse years we never lost one.

Those are a little strange but none of those are as weird as Texas at Wyoming. Colorado at Toledo: Colorado is not on the same level as Texas and Toledo is at least in a state with a lot of football talent. Baylor at ULM: Baylor isn't isn't even close to Texas's level and ULM is in the state next door, full of talent. Texas at Tulane: Same thing about ULM above with the football talent state, and probably a good chunk of UT alumni in NO, cool city, etc. Similar for Texas at UCF. Texas at Rice and UTEP: in-state.

The Wyoming one's just weird. There's no recruiting rationale. It's not close to Texas. Not many alumni in the area, I'm presuming. Not a particularly desirable destination. It's just odd. I'm not saying it wasn't cool or that I didn't get a kick out of it, but it's the weirdest OOC road game I can recall (which is also why I thought it was cool haha) and likely will remain that way until Alabama plays at UMass or New Mexico State or Idaho.
