Which top 10 teams did each of them play?

Well it's not like they've been playing nothing but slouches

Clemson played TAMU and SC on the road

Bama has played Louisville and TAMU

You can discount it all you want but it seems to be highly correlated to on field success. I thought it was an interesting observation. I'm not saying LSU sucks.

“I am not saying LSU sucks”

No one is, but 17 games and 2 OCs in....the LSU passing game is leaving a hell of a lot to be desired.

I don’t understand why that can’t be stated without people getting all pissy about it, but each to our own.

i've been posting stats showing that when ens is actually trying, lsu's passing stats are not unacceptable. the problem with the overall numbers is that they include 6 quarters of football where lsu had a large lead and dialed back the offense. burrow is among the national leaders in yards per completion.

even more interesting, it's not like teams are loading up the box to stop the run. lsu is staying mostly in pass protection and only sending 2 or 3 receivers out against sometimes as many as 7 defenders in pass coverage. yet, burrow is still hitting 50% of his passes 10+ yards.
