Oh bull shite. The other points I can see what you mean but you lost me here.

Except it isn't. I lived in North Louisiana for 15 years and when Tech isn't winning Joe Aillet Stadium becomes a ghost town, same with their other sports. No different than any other college in Louisiana.

However, taking away my personal account of Ruston. NCAA figures show that my statement is not BS. In the last 5 years La Tech has only led attendance once and ULL had more people 3/5 years.

Average football attendance last five years per the NCAA website.

2017:
La Tech 20,375
Tulane 16.939
ULL 15,751
ULM 9,928

2016:
Tulane 22,718
La Tech 20,412
ULL 20,224
ULM 13,411

2015:
Tulane 22,930
ULL 21,596
La Tech 20,977
ULM 11,732

2014:
ULL 25,775
Tulane 25,012
La Tech 20,054
ULM 18,108

2013:
ULL 25,976
Tulane 19,747
La Tech 18,666
ULM 17,035

By comparison in 2003 when McNeese was at their peak of being a 1AA/FCS power they averaged 15,986 per game, NSU during this time period averaged a little over 10K.

And these are the official numbers turned in by each university
