re: Fellow OB’era with U shaped houses, what have you done with your courtyard area?

I find it works better with a carport open to the area rather than a garage. Then you can cover it and get some better air flow. My current house has the U shape and personally I’m not a huge fan. I’d much rather a longer patio that runs the length of the house.
