If she were too young to run then her opponent in the DNC primary would have filed suit to get her out of the race before the election.

This is why the Obama birther nonsense was so stupid too. If that had really been an issue HRC would have raised holy hell during the primary races. Democrat candidates have rivals within their own party too after all.
