no, an interception does NOT negate PI, and you are right, it was clearly PI, the ref just blew the call or didnt see it, giving the saints a huge break there.

Btw, it wasnt. KC tackled the receiver after the interception was made.

Thank you, Keakar. That answers my question.

According to Hester, KC tackled the receiver after the interception. Looking at the picture, sorry I did not see the video, KC had his back to the ball at the exact time of the interception by Williams and had no idea where the ball was or if Williams made the interception. I have my doubts of the veracity of the Hester statement.

However, if that is the case, KC got away with a PI and a holding penalty.
