The picture seems to show everything you need to know about Crawley he has absolutely no idea where the ball is that and was trying to tackle the receiver just in case he had it.

One of the perks of sitting in the terrace is on deep balls like that.
Crawley was running stride for stride with callaway and started to drift towards the middle of the field (I assume tyrod was staring down the WR in the middle). By the time he had gotten back to callaway it was too late. It was a really good throw by tyrod also, because crawley closed on it pretty good for being out of position.
