Define BIG PROBLEMS...
Kid already decided to leave and go to Hahnville, who gives a shite if a coach is in contact with his future QB. Im glad to have a coach who is smart enough to maintain that contact to show he and his staff desire his services.
But, still sounds ridiculous. Dad was fired; is a BB HC; Salt is an AD, so he called the man up or vice versa. How is this a story? WTF?

Salt should have been a bit more cautious here knowing how fricked up the LHSAA is. I still fault the LHSAA for jeopardizing the potential college career of one of their student athletes over something so seemingly trivial...if this is truly the primary issue at the heart of the matter.
frick Vandebilt "Catholic" and their coaches for basically going all elementary school with their "if I can't play with this toy, nobody will" mindset. They knew exactly what they were doing when they submitted the complaint. They knew exactly they were doing when then submitted their complaint when they did. And they knew exactly what the penalty to the student athletes would be should the LHSAA rule in their favor.
The statement they issued is such complete "cover your arse" bullshite. I can't imagine anyone actually bought that shite.
