LSU wins 13-10

Defense proves to still be nasty AF.

Majority of LSU fanbase proves to still be whiny bitches - stating how bad our offense is (even though we played a great defense and we're now 3-0)

I think having Charles back will be huge in this game. We see more or of a short-field passing game. Sorry Brossette, I don't think he moves much this game (maybe 50 yds).

Player of the game (on offense) - Stephen Sullivan.

I’d be perfectly ok with it. In the SEC a Win is a Win

So you think we get a defensive TD and 2 field goals?

Done...thanks to the stupid as frick line.

3 passing yards against SLU in the second half. There is no flavor of vanilla that tastes that bad. Until this offense STOPS being bad, it's bad...and all the apologetics to the contrary do not change that fact.

No one on here is defending bad offensive play. We just refuse to trash THE ENTIRE PROGRAM after beating #8 and blanking SELU.

Do you mean in his thread, or on the board? if you mean in this thread, you're correct...so far. If you mean on the board, you're not. there has been a clear effort to excuse last week's offensive woes to suggesting it was all part of the plan...a desire to play vanilla so as to hide the REAL offense from AU. That's ludicrous, and only goes to beg the question that if what we were running was just a vanilla version...why did it ALSO suck?

So do we. I've been critical of the head coach and many of his hires and the decisions he's made since being head coach. The fact that many of you straw man that into the suggestion that it's a trashing of the program at large is part of the problem.

the offense will get better. They will be more focused and fired up. Both teams will score around 20 at least.

I don't think this is the main issue (although, it could very well be part of it). I think our players just didn't show up the second half. When that happens, scheme and play calling do not matter. If the guys do not show up to play, everything else is doomed.

Now, why did our players quit? Well, that falls on O, and that's a problem! But it can be fixed.

My problem with all the whiny bitches is that they think "we're fricked"
"can't be fixed"
"worst play calling ever"
"worst OC ever"
"worst HC ever"
"why can't we recruit a QB"
"why can't we recruit a OL"

It's insufferable the conclusions that these people come to after beating #8 and blanking SELU. It just boggles my mind.

There will be no complaints if we get a win at Auburn, even if it’s a 9-6 win or even a 3-0 win,

No one gives a damn about style points in an upper-tier SEC battle.

That said, I do not believe LSU will win. But if we do, no one will be complaining about what we did or did not do on offense.

My random prediction: LSU outgains Auburn in total yards, but Auburn still gets the W.

This is going to be a battle of DL depth, turnovers and special teams!

Neither O is going to do much. If those three things hold true, I like the good Tigers chances.

13-7

Just curious... what qualifies you to be some college football coaching hire decision making guru?
What makes you believe you know better than Ed O?

Please help us all understand better.
Thanks

Well he wasn't the worst coach in an SEC team's history, so he has that going for him.

No one is trashing the ENTIRE program. Just the shitty offense, the terrible OC and the embacil who hired him.

No one is really complaining about defense or special teams. They are literally the only reasons we might not get blown out Saturday.

Preseason #8 is not the same as #8. You could end up being right about this, but I will be very surprised if Miami ends up in the top 15.

blanking SELU

Should be almost automatic to blank SELU at home. In case you haven't noticed, people are only complaining about the 2nd half offensive ineptitude, not the outcome. And no one is complaining about the defense, the unit responsible for the blanking.
