just got back to my dorm from track practice. opened the door and my roommate and suite mates were watching the tv stunned.

i called my uncle who owns a business directly across the water in long island to check on them. he answered the phone and told me he was on top of his building watching everything unfold. as we were talking he started freaking out, the first tower started to collapse and we were both watching the same thing, him in person and me on tv. remember it like yesterday.
