Custom orthotics? I have no experience but I’m sure someone here does. Probably better to go that route instead of the stability shoe route.

I’m looking to run 2-3 trail races in LA/MS this winter. I read that the Pegasus doesn’t have much of a toe bumper or a rock plate. Are those generally preferable around here, or are those features for rockier terrains? Also, do y’all see this price drop as permanent? Sorry for the newbie questions. Not familiar with trail shoes, but I do believe the Peg trail is a more mild trail shoe. I’ve seen the new Wildhorse 6 on sale already, looks good, gets good reviews, has a rock plate. Probably worth looking into brands outside of Nike for trail shoes. Nike makes good ones, but brands like Salomon, Hoka, Inov-8 probably do them better.

Peg Trail is probably suffice for running in LA though, and price drop should be permanent. The Peg 37 just released, so a Peg 37 Trail is probably coming very soon.
