It's really sad, because it does appear that the talent is going away from the band. There were years in the not-so-distant past (around 2011) where they had to actually cut people that tried out for the colorguard as well, and only a few years later there were multiple auditions to get more people to try out because not enough people were interested. I'm not saying that it is the admin's problem, but it is pretty fishy. I feel like that same thing that contributed to this issue may have had something to do with the lack of interest in the GGs as well.

i'm not in rehearsals every day but, judging from the sound on display last night, the talent is definitely still there. they sounded incredible. i would totally not be surprised if tiger band could not maintain their typical high level of quality sound because it's just a college band. but, it has not waned yet.
