No he was not

Mediocre at best and generally was always a liability trying to throw

He had his moments but LSU definitely has had better

I agree. He won a lot of games. He wasn’t great. But he made some good plays.

Yeah and still though he was good enough to beat bama twice AFTER the 2008 change.

Only years of watching Anthony Jennings and Brandon Harris could drive someone to say this.

It still baffles me that Les actually thought he would be able to run the option again in the 2012 championship. A good runner but a subpar passer.

he was not as bad as most tigers believe but he was not as good as Miles thought he was. he did step up in big game see bama 2010 and 2011, also florida 2010

JEfferson was hiesman like in his debut against Georgia tech. After that, he was like a giraffe in rubber boots that couldn’t hit the broadside of a barn.

Started 32 games, won 25 of them.

4,733 yards passing 34 TDs 20 INTs 58.6%
1,018 yards rushing 12 TDs

Loved LSU enough to not discourage his two very talented brothers from attending despite the despicable hate he received from a good number of our fans, including many in this very thread.

His 2009 season was actually serviceable.

His 2010 season was just awful. A complete load of shite.

His 2011 was pretty bad except for the Arkansas game.
