First episode way better than last 2 movies! Should be a good mini-series to occupy an hour.

USA I think. Looks good from the commercials.

I thought it was good (never seen any of the movies). Have they ever addressed how it works for time zones?

A lot of local talent is in this series. EP1 was good. Will watch more

I was wondering about that. I saw the guy driving up the Westbank Expressway and was like "wait a second, I know that exit (Manhattan Blvd)."

Didn't realize it was filmed in NOLA.

Does it take place in NOLA? I thought NYC at first but it looks more like Los Angeles at the end.

The haven't said where, from what I could tell. The name of the guy that signed the sister out of the rehab center was Boudreaux (or some similar spelling). Doesn't mean it's set in NOLA, but it leans towards it.

It says it's a USA show, but it was playing on the Syfy channel for me.

We've got it recording on USA, but USA and SfFy have been showing the same stuff sometimes lately. I noticed it with the Harry Potter movies. I only heard about this show from the commercials on SyFy.

Really liked the first episode. If you enjoyed the movies on any level you’d be into it. I can already tell it’s going to be fun to watch and play “what would I do?”

Keep meaning to watch the movies, but haven't been able to yet.

Watching the first episode now - but my main question - why are these people waiting until the last @#$@# second to put plywood up?

My house would be set up year round for the purge, perfecting it.

The TV show looks like it could be really good . The first episode was ok but now we should get into the action.

The second movie was the best one imo.

I thought last night's episode was good. It's 7-8 years after the first Purge (according to the series creator) so that would put it in 2024 or 2025.

It really was, it definitely has potential to be a good overall series.

The dude at the end who saved the woman in her house is Beecher from Oz.

This show is not good. The acting is awful. The dialogue is trash. It feels like they linger on scenes way too long for no reason. Everything every character does is predictable. Either everyone involved with this show is bad at what they do, or no one was really trying all that hard to make this a good show.

Last night's episode was kinda ridiculous. I love the premise (never seen the movies) but I don't know if I can stick around for another 6 episodes.
